Along with all of the interior timber that arrived yesterday, we also received a load of 6" x 10" to form the veranda beam which goes all the way around the house and also forms the breezeway which connects the house and the garage. Daryl, Dean and Dave worked all afternoon in the heat and dust to not only get the beams placed but also work out a solution to a materials order where I called up every beam about 6" short. The end result, will be to make a feature out of it. Stay tuned for future blog reports!
