One last day of preparation for the concrete work to begin tomorrow. Because the excavation is 5 and a half feet deep, transferring the layout lines from the main grade to the bottom of the pit was completed with string lines and a plumb bob.
One other bit of excitement is that our well has been hooked up so it is now pumping strongly. (Just so you know, Karen snapped this picture when I was in the middle of cleaning up the tape measure. I was not so excited by the presence of a working well that I peed myself, as it would appear)
