Sheathing, Stairs, and Balcony

A busy few days in the very warm weather but the crew has now completed the sheathing on the low (18' tall) wall of the house and is within one row of the high (24' wall).  All of this is to stiffen the structure in preparation for setting the roof beams in their final locations and getting ready to deck the roof.
Karen and I have been working like mad trying to get the 2" thick T&G pine prepped with a coat of oil and 2 coats of urethane so there finishing is all pre-done and there won't be any upside down rolling or brushing once it's installed.
Daryl also built the second stair segment last week so now you can access the second floor very easily and Corey has been working on the master bedroom balcony complete with sloping floor for drainage and a parapet wall which will tie in the veranda fascia on that side of the house.
